Modulium

Modulium is developing a modular thermo-electric refrigeration unit which can efficiently preserve perishable items of concern such as medicines, dairy, vaccines, and produce. Its uniqueness lies in (a) the modularity of its Peltier coolers which will be individually activated, depending on the total cooling needs and thus enhancing energy efficiency, and (b) it is powered by renewable energy such as solar and free from harmful refrigerant chemicals, while using water as the heat transfer fluid. This innovation addresses small volume off-grid refrigeration applications as well as mid-size application for marginal farmers.
